Training: Retreats
Overview
Continuing professional development for teachers and administrators follows the summer institute. In the fall and again in the spring, retreats provide instructional processes for integrating arts experiences into the curriculum. These retreats are conducted at Henry Jacob’s Camp in Utica, MS. Continuing education unit credit is available for teachers(CEU) and administrators(SEMI) as well as opportunities for networking with fellow professionals in a relaxed and unique environment.
Here are directions to the camp.
Due to limited space, retreats are restricted to school staffs currently participating in the WSI, WSI alumni schools and Arts in the Classroom schools. If you are interested in attending a retreat, contact the WSI director for space availability and information about the specific training theme.
