Dr. John Woodall in Laurel

John Woodall, M.D. (center of photo), leads a discussion at the Laurel Train Depot with concerned adult and student representives from the Laurel/Jones County area seeking arts centered solutions to issues of apathy among students, juvinelle crime, and the high school dropout rate.
Dr. Woodall is a research fellow at the Judge Baker Children’s Center at Harvard Medical School. He is the founder and director of the Unity Project, a non profit organization that uses the arts and service learning as methods to promote competent global citizenship. John has been on the WSI summer institute faculty for several summers teaching teachers how to teach resilency through the arts.
